A look into the studio

There's two versions of me. There's the woman who loves clean lines and neutral tones, who tries to keep everything minimal, structured, and together. Whose brand colors are linen, espresso, and muted olive. Who's built a whole brand around doing things with purpose.

And then there's the other version of me.

The girl who used to draw just because she had an idea. Who didn't need the right tools. I mean, I used to use a freakin' bus card as a ruler and it worked just fine. I mixed colors without overthinking them and made things without worrying whether they fit my aesthetic. I also didn't know yet that the world would expect me to pick a lane because society seems to place us in these boxes.

For a long time I tried to keep these two versions of myself in separate worlds. I thought fun and sophistication couldn't coexist. I thought once you were a grown woman, especially a woman over 30, especially a woman building something, you had to choose. A certain aesthetic, a certain tone, and a certain version of yourself that made sense to please everyone else.

So I separated my businesses and products, and I kept trying to find the right name for the part of me that wanted to make a little clay waffle keychain and put it on a fancy bag without apologizing for it. And then I realized that separation was never about the brand. It was about me not giving myself permission to be who I truly am.

Gallery 713 is what happened when I stopped separating and trying to fix myself.

It's for the woman who is neutral-toned and dreams in color at the same time. Who keeps a minimal home and has a mushroom charm on her Stanley. Who takes her business seriously and has a little checkered tray on her desk. Who is sophisticated, silly, structured, and free. Not one or the other, and not one more than the other. Both.

This is your permission slip. To add the pop of color. To put the whimsical thing on a classy bag. To let your desk, your fridge, and your walls be a reflection of all of you. Not just the put-together version. The whole you.

Welcome to Gallery 713. You're allowed to be exactly who you are here.

Gallery 713 is permission to have fun, to express yourself creatively, and to show up as your whole self, one little piece at a time.
